Robert C. Huber is the founder and CEO of USG, Inc., a company specializing in emergency recovery planning for major corporations and government agencies at all levels. He has over twenty years experience in risk management, emergency response, business continuity planning and training, along with a lifetime career in emergency management. He is a highly decorated veteran police officer and investigator, a nationally recognized authority in emergency response and recovery, and has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Time Magazine, Computerworld, NBC, CBS, ABC, US Magazine, USA Today, as well as in textbooks on computer crime. He graduated top in his class at the FBI Academy and, after completing special secret service training, he was assigned as a bodyguard to the Vice President of the United States. Rex L. Pickett is a native of Minnesota, attended the University of Minnesota and U.S. Naval Academy, was commissioned an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, and served more than seven years with designations in atomic, biological, and chemical defense. His work experience includes management positions in motion picture theaters, restaurants, food service, and industrial catering. Civic service includes citizen boards and commissions in Bloomington, Minnesota. He has been a member of the Minneapolis Writers Workshop (est. 1937) for more than twenty years and served in both officer and board positions during that time.
