This book speaks about a Black community organization that did not seek to speak for the people of color and the poor, but rather sought to work with, and along side, so they could find their own voice to speak for themselves. It is the telling portrait of a nearly forgotten story about a group of remarkable people in the Twin Cities, who, along with collaborators, poor and rich together, shared a common purpose in the organization called The Way. 240 pages, 6 X 9, |
